Simply

Ilove how our Yeshua teaches. He looks around at the world He created and uses creation to explain spiritual truth.

“Beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they?

Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit.

A good tree cannot produce bad fruit nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

So then, you will know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:15-20 NASB

All of us need difficult truths revealed in a manner that we relate to. When Yeshua taught, most people were people of the land. They farmed, raised livestock, and were fishermen. They lived close to nature. Explaining truth in terms they saw and lived with daily brought them new understanding…or clearer understanding. How kind to meet those He loved where they lived and teach so they could comprehend.

The Word tells us that our God does not change. It’s been my experience that through daily routine, work, play, and nature, our Yeshua has explained the hard truth to me. When I hold up my “stories” against scripture, I find He has taught someone else the same truth in the same way or maybe a different setting.

We can be confident our God still speaks. He still reveals Himself. Remember the Disciples were not that educated or particularly gifted. Yet after 3 years listening to Yeshua they were prepared to spread the Gospel.

Read the Word. Spend time with our Father. Listen to the Spirit within. Test yourself by scripture. He still teaches…honestly…simply…in ways He knows we can understand.
