This year, as I read through the Bible, I was struck once again with the power and depth of Scripture. I’ve read this passage in Hebrews numerous times but this time, once again, Abba God showed me something new.

“God after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son…” Hebrews 1:1-2NASB And here begins a list of who our Yeshua is.

His Son
Heir of all things
Through whom He made the world
He is the radiance of His glory
The exact representation of His nature
Upholds all things by the Word of His power
Made purification of sins
Sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high
Become as much better than the angels
Inherited a more excellent name
Firstborn
Angels worship Him
His throne is forever
Loves righteousness and hates lawlessness
Anointed with the oil of gladness
He is the same
His years never come to an end
His enemies are the footstool for His feet

We have the “I Am” statements of Yeshua in scripture. I love and appreciate them. I had never noticed this portion of Hebrews as a descriptive list of who Yeshua is.

In these 72 years of this life walk, I never cease to be amazed at scripture. It contains layers and layers of wisdom. Praise our Yeshua.
